Dr. Victoria I. Adejo is Treatment Lead/Senior Program Manager TB/HIV. She is responsible for planning and coordinating the implementation of programs to provide quality tuberculosis (TB)/HIV services to clients supported by the Institute. She also offers technical assistance to health providers on treatment, care and support for both diseases. In this role, Dr. Adejo collaborates with the government, funding agencies and other implementing partners on TB and HIV programs, while monitoring program achievements and strategizing for an effective and efficient program.
Dr. Adejo has over 15 years of experience in working with government and non-governmental organizations to design and implement public health programs, including HIV/AIDS, TB/HIV and Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Health projects in Nigeria. Within IHVN, she has held positions such as Clinical Associate, Program Officer, Senior Program Officer (Adult ART), and Global Fund HIV Prevention, Care and Treatment Lead for ten states. She has also worked as ART Clinical Officer with AIDS Relief Project at St. Gerard’s Catholic Hospital Kaduna, and as Medical Officer in the Yusuf Dantsoho Medical Hospital, Kaduna in Kaduna State.
Dr. Adejo holds a Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery Degree from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Masters in Public Health Degree from University of Benin, Nigeria. She has certificates in Project Management, Global Program Leadership and Management, and Clinical Management of HIV from Galilee International Management Institute, and University of Washington respectively.
